Each summer, Cy-Fair Speech, LLC hosts three different play groups: Parent-Toddler Play and Language Group, Preschool Play and Language Group, and School-Aged Social Skills Group. Each group will be 8 weeks long and will target boosting children’s social-interaction skills, joint attention skills, and overall language skills. Upon registering their child, Parents will share with Cy-Fair Speech their child’s social and interaction needs, and each child will have individualized goals for the group that will be tracked each week in a weekly session note. At the end of the 8 weeks, parents will receive a progress report on their child’s progress on each goal, as well as suggestions for carryover and home practice.
These groups also offer parents a unique opportunity to come together with other parents of children with similar needs and form supportive relationships, in an effort to share interests and resources, explore ideas, and even schedule additional playdates in the future.
